This "Classic Japanese" car (how is 1997 classic? ), is really unique. It was considered a utility-oriented wagon at the time and shares a drive train with a Celica GT-Four, which means it's all wheel drive. It is considered to be the most spacious performance vehicle at that time. Under the hood, this is a rally legend, with Toyota true and true reliability and a 4 3S-GTE. Now, look really close, do you see something out of place? The steering is on the right hand side.
It's not just us that thinks this a great car. It is currently (summer 2024) on display at the Lemay Car Museum, as part of the Shinka exhibit featuring Japan's automotive heritage! Check it out here!
So, white cars are great, they show less dirt, they are not as hot on a summer day… but, it is super hard to photograph damage. So, bare with us a little on the before photos. :-)
The damage to this car was on the passenger side, from front to back. We had a mix of new parts and body work and the results are just as gorgeous as it was before the accident. See the images below for closeups of the damage.
